Quezon City (Eastwood / Cubao)

Eastwood City is Megaworldss flagship township -- a self-contained community where residential towers sit atop IT parks, and the Citywalk below pulses with restaurants and bars from early morning to the small hours. For BPO workers pulling graveyard shifts, this is one of the few neighborhoods designed around their schedule: food at 3 AM, bars until dawn, and a walk from office to condo measured in minutes. Adjacent Cubao is a different animal. As the junction of the LRT-2 and MRT-3 lines, it is Metro Manilas most important public transport interchange. Hidden within the chaos is Cubao Expo, a cluster of converted warehouses now home to vintage shops, indie bars, and art galleries that Reddit users consistently recommend as one of Manilas best-kept secrets. The downsides are real. Aurora Boulevard traffic can add 30-45 minutes to what should be a 10-minute trip. The area around bus terminals can feel sketchy at night. And Eastwood itself suffers from the Megaworld effect: lots of similar-looking towers, resale values that have flattened, and a somewhat sterile corporate atmosphere once you leave the Citywalk.
