The tiny main street buzzes with guesthouses, cafes, and adventure tour operators. The cool mountain climate (altitude 1,000m), tea plantation scenery, and hiking trails attract backpackers and adventure tourists year-round. Property is limited and largely informal, but guesthouse investments can yield strong returns.
