À propos de Digbeth

Digbeth is Birmingham's answer to Shoreditch — a former industrial neighbourhood undergoing a dramatic creative transformation that is being turbocharged by the arrival of HS2. The area's Victorian warehouses, factories, and railway arches are being reimagined as studios, galleries, restaurants, and homes, while the street art that adorns every other wall has made Digbeth one of the most visually exciting neighbourhoods in any British city. The Custard Factory is the creative hub, a sprawling campus in the former Bird's Custard works that houses hundreds of creative businesses, independent shops, and event spaces. Digbeth Dining Club, the street food event that helped launch a national movement, has found a permanent home here. The Old Crown, dating to 1368, claims to be Birmingham's oldest surviving building. At night, the area comes alive with some of the best club nights and live music venues in the city. With HS2's Curzon Street station set to land on Digbeth's doorstep, the neighbourhood is poised for a transformation that will reshape Birmingham's eastern flank.
