Ulcinj Old Town perches on a rocky promontory above the sea, its fortification walls and towers creating one of the most dramatic silhouettes on the Adriatic. The town has a distinctive Albanian cultural character — it's Montenegro's most southerly coastal town, near the Albanian border. The citadel offers panoramic views, atmospheric stone lanes, and character properties at the lowest prices on the Montenegrin coast. Long Beach (Velika Plaza), 13km of unbroken sand, is just south of town.
